Tommy Miller

Tommy Miller - Bass / Vocals

Tom Miller began his professional career at age 15. He's a true artist and an amazing vocalist with the ability to play all styles of music! From 1978-79, Tom performed and recorded with drummer Doug Clifford (Creedence Clearwater Revival), keyboardist Bobby Whitlock (Derek & the Dominos, Delaney & Bonnie) and guitarist David Vega (Graham Central Station) as California Gold. Tom joined the Alameda All Stars in 1986. His soulful vocals and innovative bass lines add an exciting melodic sound to the All Stars' music. With aggressive attack and phat tone, he fills out the low end for the bands thick sound. Since 1990, Tom has been bassist for Gregg Allman & Friends. With GA&F, Tom has toured throughout the U.S. & Japan and appeared on Gregg's "Searching for Simplicity" and "No Stranger To The Dark" cd's. In 1992, he also joined forces and toured with Starship, featuring Mickey Thomas. In 2001, while touring with Gregg Allman & Friends, Tom met Grammy-nominated blues man Alvin Youngblood Hart and soon began performing with Alvin in the U.S. & Europe. When Tom is not on tour performing with the All Stars, Gregg Allman & Friends or Alvin Youngblood Hart, he stays busy doing studio work back home in lovely Northern California.
